Last Sunday we kicked off our first of four potluck discussions where we are taking time to reflect on being church. The topic of this potluck was nurturing connectedness. Upcoming themes are Holistic Spirituality, Being Church in the Community and in our fourth potluck we will reflect on the year's discussion and see if we have a better understanding of Hillcrest's Identity.
There were a wide range of thoughts, ideas and possibilities raised around connectedness with most people feeling as though Hillcrest placed relationships as a high priority. A more detailed account of the discussion will be made available to the congregation.
