I think everyone who attended Sunday night would agree that Hillcrest first ever pie and ice cream social was a “smashing” success.

We began the night with a rousing game of Wheel of Wonder to get us up to speed with what everyone was up to over the summer.

We were then treated pie tasting competition with our rigorous panel of experts.

Cream pies for auctioned off and targeted at some welcoming victims . . .

And, well, some things just aren’t called for! I have a long memory boys!

All-in-all it was a great night with proceeds going towards our Winter Retreat slated for this January.

On September 30 we will begin the first of four lunch potluck discussion times. The idea for this grew out of interest around the desire for fellowship and discussion. We will be looking at various aspects of what it means to be the church. More information will be coming!
